Kathy's Journey Home

Hi everyone,

This GoFundMe fundraiser is being set up to support Kathleen Lindbeck's funeral expenses and medical bills.

Kathleen (Kathy) passed away around 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with small cell lung cancer. She was diagnosed in April of 2024, and spent the next 9 months traveling, dancing, driving, spending, and loving up on her children, grandchildren, partner, and friends.

As the cancer progressed, she persisted. She tried multiple chemotherapy and immunotherapy agents, lengthening and improving her quality of life until the last several weeks. She transitioned to hospice on Sunday, March 2nd. The past few days have been both beautiful and challenging. As Kathy's body began to fail her, she remained loving and Christ filled. Her faith was everything to her. Her family and friends have held her in prayer and support, and surrounded her as she made her final journey to her forever home.

Unfortunately, as many of you know, insurance doesn't cover everything. Medical bills have begun rolling in, and her funeral expenses began this morning. We know that many of you may be feeling the challenges of the economy at this time- please give if you can, and if you can't, please share to spread the news of Kathy's ascension into heaven and to support her family. Prayers continue to be welcomed.

Kathy was a fierce, bad-a**, flamboyant, loving woman with a beautiful, unique fashion sense, a heart the size of St. Paul, and laughter her neighbors heard, even over the sound of the train moving through her back yard. While her family celebrates this wonderful woman, let's help relieve their financial burden.
