Today, my heart is heavy as I write to you about a tragedy that has struck my family. My dear mother has lost everything in a devastating flood that swept through the Kirbyville, TX community. Her home, the place where she built memories over the last few years and cherished belongings, is now submerged in water, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back.

My mother is a resilient soul, but this loss has left her feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. The floodwaters not only took away her home but also all of her necessities. Furniture, clothing, appliances, family heirlooms – all gone in an instant. The emotional toll of such a loss is immeasurable.

As her child, it breaks my heart to see her in this situation, feeling lost and uncertain about the future. That's why I'm reaching out to you today, humbly asking for your support.
