Help Kathy Bury Beloved Daughter

On January 4th, our friend Kathy Higgins lost her beloved daughter, Tammy Favare, to a fatal car accident. The unexpected and tragic loss has caused Kathy immeasurable grief, but she will also be incurring a large amount of financial obligations, between the funeral, other arrangements, and caring for Tammy's personal items and beloved pets.
Tammy was in the process of finishing her Master's Degree in Forensic Science. She was excitedly looking forward to establishing herself in a career. Kathy has dedicated her life to a career in advocating for people with developmental disabilities. Because of this, the financial burden of burying her only daughter is too great for Kathy to bear alone.
All funds raised will be given directly to Kathy to use towards funeral costs and other arrangements. At this time, no funeral arrangements have been made due to the ongoing police investigation into the car accident. However, we expect this to occur within the next week or two. At that time, Kathy will need financial assistance in order to lay Tammy to rest properly.
We are Kathy's coworkers and friends. Kathy is a wonderful person who cares for everyone around her deeply, never asking for anything in return. She advocates for and supports her clients. There is not a person more worthy of support and love during this difficult time. We are heartbroken for her, because we know she loves Tammy more than anything.
We are so grateful for any financial help you can give! Every dollar is meaningful and will help Kathy to be able to grieve her loss rather than having to stress about how to afford to bury Tammy.
