Kathy Watkins for her beloved son Casey

Hi my name is Heather k and I am fundraising for my dear friend Kathy Watkins whom lost her beloved oldest son, Casey Lee Clark suddenly to the disease of addiction. Sadly, As the rise of fentanyl overdoses continues to destroy lives and communities my only hope for Kathy is that she can put her son at rest with the help from a community that loves and supports her as she journeys on her own road to recovery while grieving a son gone much too soon. She inspires me and those that are close to her with her strength to keep going on in RECOVERY showing others we do and can RECOVER through crises. She is a mother, sister and daughter who almost lost two sons this week to this deadly disease. Her youngest son is in the hospital at the same time in acute care as he has been on a ventilator fighting for his life. He is thankfully alive.

kathy lives on a fixed income and cannot afford the costs to cremate Casey. When we can come together as a community and help a neighbor or friend when devastating circumstances strike then we can make miracles happen for another.

Casey was 43, he had three children he leaves behind. Let's all pitch in so Kathy and her family can feel the love during a time of loss and grief. She is honest, kind and shares the message of hope to addicts daily and that is such a gift! Kathy needs our help to cover cremation cost ($1500) transportation cost to honor Casey by spreading his ashes on whidbey island and whatever she needs to lessen the burden of financial obligations.
