Kathy Scheer and Backstage Salon have helped so many of us over the years, now it’s our turn to return the favor.  Kathy will undergo a double mastectomy on July 18th.  Even though She does NOT have cancer, most of the tissue in both breasts is precancerous. To NOT have the surgery would be a guaranteed cancer diagnosis in the future. She will have reconstruction surgery immediately after the breast surgery. It will be an eight hour surgery and will be followed by a long recovery.  
Being self employed requires you to work especially in the service industry.  Insurance covers basic medical costs but additional medical costs, copays and basic necessities of life is not.  
Backstage has given us great hair but their clients know it offers so much more.  It is also a place to catch up with friends, feel better about ourselves as well as offer solace when things aren’t quite right.  Now it’s our turn to give Kathy comfort while she faces this storm.❤️
