Hi, my name is Allison Palmer and I’m fundraising for my mother, Kathy Palmer. We recently found out my mom has 3 vertebrae discs pressing on her spinal cord. This is causing her pain and neurological symptoms. The doctor told her that her only option is spinal surgery. The surgery will take place on 3/26/24. This will cause her to be out of work for approximately 10 weeks. Unfortunately, this will put the family in a tough financial spot, and disability pay will not be much help with rent and medical bills. There will be a period where my mother goes without any pay due to limited paid leave.
