Our dear friend Kathleen or as many called her "Kathy" passed away early morning on December 24, 2016. She is survived by her daughters Rachel Lopez & Alanna Newman; Grandchildren Maria Fuentes, Gordie Arres Silva, Alyssa Garcia, Trinity Garcia & James Garcia; Great-Grandchildren Ryan Davis & Jeremy Davis. Many knew Kathy in their own way, while I knew her as a really good friend. One thing I loved about Kathy is that she always understood where I was coming from. From the moment she met me I didn't feel judged but welcomed. I could always sit and listen to stories she told me about her past and sit and laugh my butt off with some of the hilarious things she would say. Like me Kathy was a cat lover and I loved when we would talk about the similarities that our cat's had. I loved when I would go to visit Kathy because she gave the best hugs. But I have to say the best memory that I keep close to my heart is when she would leave me heartfelt notes on the bathroom mirror before school to let me know she thought of me when she woke up. Kathy had a big heart and never showed me that she hated anyone. All I felt around her was positive energy and a welcoming home. She was one of those people you can tell anything to and she always understood and never judged you. She was your best friend that you just had to share with everyone. This is the reason we're creating this Go Fund Me page. To see if friends and family will be able to help donate and assist us on the funeral costs for Kathy.
