Kathy and I and our families have been friends for a long, long time. Our kids grew up together going to the same Christian school. My youngest daughter affectionately called Gary "monkey".

Kathy and Gary Kean were lifelong sweethearts. They actually met in the first grade. They were married for 46 years when Gary went home to heaven after a long, hard-fought illness. Doctors, hospital stays, and surgeries have taken all their savings. Gary was a man of deep faith and had an immense love for God as well as his family.

Kathy is struggling financially. The grief is so intense when you lose your soulmate. This has been a tough year for Kathy with so many things to face without her lifelong love.
