On Sunday 12/3, Kathy was admitted to St. David's Medical after experiencing brain-related trauma leaving her unconscious. Since finding out, her family has been by her side cheering her on and praying for a miraculous recovery. On 12/9, the nursing team let the family know they would need to plan her end-of-life care from this point on. Kathy's close family members are heartbroken and only wish for her to peacefully rest. She will be 50 on 12/13 and the family wishes to throw her one last birthday party from a hospital room before her final send-off.

Kathy was unapologetically herself. She was the type of person who was able to find the good in others. She was kind, vivacious, and full of hope. She was the underdog who would always put up a fight for those in need ❤️ 

Funds from this GoFundMe will contribute to her stay at St. Davids, end-of-life care, and costs for the funeral.
