Hi, I’m Noel Yelvington, Kathy Fenner’s daughter. My mom was scheduled for a total shoulder replacement surgery on 12/14. She ended up with COVID and her surgery was rescheduled to 12/30. Everything went great with the shoulder replacement. She was released from the hospital the following day on 12/31. Then on 1/1, she ended up having a panic attack at home, she was struggling to breathe and her oxygen levels were very unstable. Her oxygen was dropping to the 70s, which should be 90+%, she was hallucinating and couldn’t stay awake. We took her to the ER where she was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted for treatment and is on oxygen. Given that it is now the new year, she will have another $3,000 deductible to meet and piling hospital bills. My dad needs to be with her to take care of her until she is stable, which means less income there. He has been staying in a hospital chair for 2 days now. He has FMLA but it’s not paid leave. My parents are always the first ones to help anyone out in any way they possibly can. They give freely and with an open heart. They didn’t ask to set this up, but I wanted some way to help them out, to lessen their burdens because they always take care of others. It would be a huge relief to not have to try to climb out from a mountain of medical bills after this. Please pray for strength and healing for my mom, for her lungs and her shoulder. She will have a long road of recovery, and still have to do lots of physical therapy. Thank you for taking the time to read this, share, pray, donate. From the bottom of all of our hearts, thank you.
