Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm Maureen, Kathy Donahue's sister and we are asking for your help to support Kathy with this difficult life changing illness.

On 9/6/25, the pain Kathy endured in her back for the past several months was too much and she went to the ER. The tests that were done revealed that Kathy had a malignant lymphoma in many of her lymph nodes within her abdomen and around her heart. The MRI also showed that Kathy's spine was fractured from the lesions that had already spread to her bones.

Kathy is getting her biopsy tomorrow 9/11/25 and soon we will know what type of cancer this is and what the options for treatment will be.

Kathy had health insurance at one time but the drastic increases became too much to afford. She was also denied Medicaid to help pay for the hospital and future tests and cancer treatments.

As private as Kathy likes to be with her life, we have no choice than to reach out to everyone we know to help Kathy with her medical expenses. We appreciate all the calls and prayers from everyone as it means so much to Kathy and our family during this time.
