Since 2013 Kathy Clausen has been battling health issues such as Diabetes and Vascular Disease, which has caused her to have both legs amputated and numerous surgeries. The past year these issues have caused fluid problems that have affected her heart and lungs. Kathy is currently on life support at the U of M.  These issues have also caused her to go into Congestive Heart and Kidney Failure. Kathy is also battling many other infections throughout her body. Unfortunately, Randy and the family has had to make the heart breaking decision to take Kathy off of life support today (Friday December 8, 2017) due to her condition and very little brain activity.  The Doctors have stated that to the family there is no chance of Kathy to come out of her condition.
