Kathy A. Dykin

Our mother, Kathy Dykin passed on February 2, 2023. We have been overwhelmed with the support of family and friends alike, reaching out with thoughts and prayers and offerings. Everyone has asked if we needed food or an ear to talk to or even money to help with costs. Those offerings are appreciated beyond measure; however, we feel they can be used for a better purpose in these circumstances. With her passing being so sudden, we did not have much time to plan for things. We did know what her final wishes were, however, due to the health circumstances that took place surrounding her passing, we were unable to execute part of her final wishes of having her body donated to science.

Kathy was an organizer and believed in bringing people together to achieve goals. We have decided to find a permanent memorial for my mom. Somewhere in nature where there are trees and flowers and birds and especially squirrels. A place that anyone can visit and dedicated solely to her memory. A location where all her friends and family can stop by and say hi or give a moment of remembrance. The purpose of this Go Fund Me is for donations for that specific purpose. Since everyone who loved my mom has offered up assistance, we felt this to be the best possible way for each of you who wishes to play a role and participate in her memory.

Once a location is decided, a ceremony will be held to dedicate her memorial. Our family would like to thank each of you for your comfort and support and we will inform each of you once her memorial is chosen.
