Hi everyone,
If you know me, you know I’m usually the one taking care of others — whether that’s loving and raising my two children or supporting the sweet students I work with every day as a special education paraprofessional. Asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me, but right now our family truly needs it.
I was recently diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer. It’s an aggressive form of breast cancer, but it is treatable, and I am ready to fight with everything I have. I will be starting chemotherapy soon, followed by additional treatments recommended by my oncology team.
While I’m staying strong and hopeful, this journey comes with emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Between medical bills, treatments, scans, medications, and time away from work, the expenses are quickly adding up. My focus right now needs to be on healing and being present for my two children as we walk through this season together.
If you feel led to donate, any amount truly helps and means more than I can put into words. If giving isn’t possible, sharing this page and keeping our family in your prayers is just as appreciated.
We are trusting God through this, leaning on our faith, and believing in the strength of community. Thank you for standing with us during this fight.
With love and gratitude,
Kathryn and Jonathan
