Kathryn's Breast Cancer Fund

On August 18, 2020, Kathryn Pot was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, or TNBC.  TNBC is a very aggressive, fast-spreading cancer.  The cancer was found in her right breast.  After getting a double mastectomy, it was discovered that it had spread to the left breast as well.  She underwent this procedure on September 15th and will start chemotherapy on October 12th.  Most all of her appointments are in New York City at Memorial Sloan Kettering.  Many of these trips also include hotel stays.  

Due to Covid and a suppressed immune system because of chemotherapy and Crohn's Disease, she has not been cleared to return to work.  Her treatments are ongoing through, at least, March 2021.  After she has used up all of her sick and vacation time, Kathryn will, unfortunately, have to go unpaid.  Any donation will help towards medical bills, travel, and recovery.
