UPDATE: Her memorial is being held on October 29 from 12-4 at the San moritz lodge in Crestline.

Hi my name is Russell, and my beautiful, amazing, loving mother Kathy tragically passed away on October 6. She was involved in a fatal car accident on her way up to visit me for her birthday week. She was 63 years old at the time of her passing, born on October 12, 1958.

As some of you may know, she enjoyed helping people so much, that she went back to college and received her nursing degree at 54 years old. I am so proud of her for having the courage to go back to school and dedicate the rest of her life to something that she loved. She loved being a nurse and everything that came with it, the good and the bad.

Some of her favorite recreational activities were: riding her bike (especially at the beach,) hiking on trails around the mountain, and exploring new places. But her favorite by far was spending time with, (and spoiling) her wonderful grandchildren.

We have decided to hold her memorial on October 29, from 12-4 at the San Moritz lodge in Crestline.

This fundraiser is to help my dad out with all the expenses that come along with this tragic event. Every little bit that is donated will help so much and is extremely appreciated, more than I can put into words.

Will update on memorial time and location as we figure it out.
