Dear Friends and Family, I have wonderful news to share. I have been invited to attend a LoveYourBrain Community Retreat, alongside my daughter.
As many of you know, I have been dealing with headaches, short-term memory loss, cognitive issues, and mobility challenges that have led to falls. After extensive testing, doctors found a benign brain tumor. Adjusting to this new normal has been difficult, resulting in job loss and strained relationships.
I am hoping this retreat will provide invaluable support by connecting me with a community of others navigating similar brain conditions. Love Your Brain offers these retreats to participants and their caregivers at no charge, using a pay-it-forward model where attendees ask family and friends for support to help fund future retreats.
