I'm running to raise money in support for the East Kilbride & District Dementia Carers Group, with every donation guaranteed to make a huge difference. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me personally, having provided both my mother in law and my own mum with high quality and personalised care following their diagnosis. They have also supported our family through this difficult journey, providing information and advice to give us all a better understanding of dementia.

The group was formed in 1990, by carers, to provide care and support to people living with dementia, family carers, and the local community.

They have their own fully accessible mini-bus, organising over 300 trips and outings each year, providing great attention and care to many people who often don't get out of the house. This is the only dedicated service of it's type in East Kilbride, with an incredibly loyal, committed and wonderful team of staff.
