Help Kathleen Marvin with Her Hospice Care.

Hello, my name is Michael Marvin and as some of you may be aware, our mom Kathleen Marvin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian, Bone, and Lung Cancer in September 2021. While she did initially undergo chemotherapy, unfortunately, the treatment was unsuccessful. For the past 6 months, our family has been taking turns caring for her so she could stay in the comfort of her home, but as her condition continued to degenerate, that was no longer feasible. After much contemplation, we decided to move her into a full-time Hospice Care Facility in Lakewood, NY where she can get the 24-hour medical attention she needs from skilled and caring professionals. Unfortunately, her private insurance and Medicare will not cover her room and board. With the cost totals around $250/day, for a total of around $7525/month. This will be almost unbearable considering her income level and savings.

We know times are tough and that people need every penny these days. However, if you see it in your heart to support our mother's needs, we know in our hearts that you will receive blessings from the Universe, and we could all use those!

Rj, Kelly, and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we have received since announcing our mother’s diagnosis. We are truly blessed to have such loving friends and family who have stepped up to lend a helping hand during this difficult time.
