On Saturday March 17th, my dad Hank Gassmann passed away very unexpectedly leaving my mom Kathleen with medical bills as well as other expenses that she will need help with.
Myself, my brother Danny & sister Christine are doing what we can to help but it is just not enough.
My dad was a very hard working man & was loved by so many people.
He was an umpire for the West Islip Little League for almost 10 years & I can’t tell you how many people have commented about how they remember him from his time as an umpire.
He was a man that would help you out as long as he was able to do it.
Anything you can do to help would be appreciated more than you know.
