Kathleen & Don Sciole House fire

Donation protected

Thursday night December 17th, 2020 Kathleen Sciole, a local Plattsburgh school teacher and her retired father Don Sciole and Kathleen’s 5 year old daughter Adaline Azimov; have lost their house in Cliff Haven and all of their worldly possessions, both old and new, from a house fire. They were all able to get out safely and from that standpoint, we are all incredibly grateful for the outcome. However, the house is considered a total loss and while the outpouring has been extremely appreciated and overwhelming, for their unknown current and future needs, if you are looking to contribute or help out, please donate to their Go Fund Me page.

They have received clothing and items for all three, food, household items, toiletries from the community, friends, neighbors and strangers. They are incredibly humbled and beyond grateful for everything that has been donated and offered. If you are looking for a way to help, please consider donating any amount or sharing this page, this way they can rebuild and replenish what they need, at their own pace during this incredibly difficult time. The home that was lost in the fire was built by Don, where he raised Kathleen and her 3 brothers.  As a new single mother, Kathleen and her daughter Adaline had recently moved back into the home to live with Don and they were enjoying reliving Kathleen’s own childhood prior to this catastrophe. Thank you all in advance, every thought, item, donation, phone call andtext is very appreciated.
