As some of you know, Kathleen's husband George is in the hospital with severe heart failure. It appears that he will need advanced therapies including the possibility of a heart transplant in the future. While they await definitive treatment, George will need to be hospitalized likely for several months. It is challenging - both emotionally and practically - to support a loved one in the hospital for a prolonged period. We know many would like to show support for Kathleen and George. Please consider supporting Kak (and her cats!) as she travels to and from the hospital, spends countless hours at the bedside, and eats many take-out meals over the next several months.

All funds raised will go to Kathleen. It will be used to cover the cost of gas, parking, meals, (and cat sitters) all at a time when George is not able to work.
