Calling All Loved Ones! My Mom is a Superhero!
As many of you know, I just brought home my healthy newborn baby girl 6 days ago. Although it was a joyous day, we quickly discovered this was also going to be a monumental week for my Mom, Kathie Fontaine.
The day we brought Mia home from the hospital my Mom complained of back pain. We took her to an urgent care facility just to get checked out and she was immediately admitted to the hospital because her heart rate was dangerously low. The amazing Physicians at INOVA Alexandria ran tests and checked on the stints in her heart from her heart attack 9 years ago. After a few days and countless testing, doctors confirmed my Mom would need to get a pacemaker put in.
We are happy to report surgery went well yesterday and they will be releasing her soon. We are happy to have a solution and that she is finally feeling better!
Unfortunately, my Mom just moved down here to Virginia and the jobs she had lined up will have to wait. The doctors prescribed up to a month of recovery before heading back to work.
We are calling on friends and family to help soften the blow of the unexpected expense of medical bills and loss of wages until my Mom can work again in one month.
We know times are tough for everyone! We have combined my fitness background & my Mom's talents as a massage therapist to give you a token of appreciation for your contribution!
