Hello.
My name is Kimberley. I am the eldest sister of Katherine, who we are raising money for her funeral.
Katherine died suddenly. The reason currently unknown as she is still with the coroner on the 27th of September 2025 in her sleep, leaving her family entirely devastated, which honestly doesn't even cover the amount of grief and heartache we currently all feel.
Due to her sudden passing although we are doing our best, we cannot cover the full cost of a funeral and so have been told by several of our friends and hers to make this go fund me.
A little about Katherine / Kasper / Kat / Kitty / Calliper. [Potentially other nicknames we don't know about]
She was 31 years young when she was dragged away from us this month. She absolutely adored and doted on any of the children in our family. She was ignored by the doctors and hospitals and written off as being dramatic when she went to them with her various health concerns, but that wasn't fair to her.
She was incredibly stubborn but always loving and would light up a room although that light has now been extinguished.
Katherine would drop -anything- and -everything- for her family and friends the minute they needed it and is already being remembered for her unique laugh, her personality and compassion by those that knew her.
Second oldest daughter but third child to Elaine and John Keen. She was deeply loved by both, they are now doing their best to navigate the waters of losing a child and although they hate the thought of asking for help, they've come to realise that there are a plethora of people that would like to in some form.
Katherine leaves behind 4 beautiful nieces, a few adopted nieces and nephews dotted around amongst her close friends, 3 sisters (1 Older and 2 Younger) and 2 brothers (1 Older, 1 Younger).
Any donations will go towards the funeral expenses solely and sending Katherine off in the best way possible as she deserves.
Funeral details will be given once we have them set in stone, as well as an explanation as brief as possible about how Katherine passed once we know them.
Thank you for taking the time to donate and help us send her off in the best way possible.
For any questions please feel free to ask.
-Kimberley.
