This past Tuesday we received the most devastating news anyone could ever hear. Our beautiful Niece Katherine is eight years old, the younger of two children and the Daughter of David and Rosie Guillen. She is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, this is a fast-growing cancer of a type of white blood cells called lymphocytes that crowds out bone marrow, preventing it from making the normal red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets that your body needs.
She is currently at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles and will start chemo therapy and will be on medication for the next 2.5 years. Even in the hospital, after various blood transfusions, needle poking and starting chemo, Katherine is still all smiles.
Special thanks to Katherine’s School, Kirkwood Christian School was able to setup a virtual classroom to communicate with her and has started a T-shirt fundraiser to assist the Guillen family.
ALL our prayers and thoughts are being heard and are well appreciated. Thank you all for your kind love and support during these hard times. The Guillen family is asking all people of good will and warm hearts to help and donate as much as you can.
PLEASE DONATE and help Katherine and her family win this battle.
