Katherine Lynde's Battle Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Liz Taylor, and I am Katherine's daughter. My amazing and inspirational mom was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called CNS (Central Nervous System) Lymphoma. She was diagnosed after experiencing short-term memory issues that led to a CT scan and MRI that revealed three tumors in her brain. The largest tumor, located on her frontal lobe, was the culprit for her memory issues. As a result, she underwent brain surgery on Thursday, May 5, to remove some of the tumor and collect tissue for a biopsy. She has been in the hospital for ten days and is still recovering from brain surgery and receiving her first chemo treatments. As of right now, she will have chemo treatments every two weeks, and each treatment will require a 3-4 day hospital stay. She has a long road ahead of her towards recovery, but she has an amazing support system!

I setup this gofundme to help my parents alleviate stress due to medical expenses. My mom has many more hospital stays ahead of her, and medical costs will be exorbitant. So many people love my mom, and we've had an outpouring of people who have asked how they can help.
