To say that my Best friend Katherine and her Mother have been through a lot in the last year is a complete understatement. From tragedy, loss, sickness, and constant transition - these amazing women have made it out of the darkness with the most positive intention to start a new chapter together. Never have I witnessed a bond so strong. Now to top it all off - this morning as they were awaiting their flight at the airport to spend Christmas on the East Coast with their loved ones, their home in Ojai caught fire. The damage is extensive and the memories lost in that home are irreplaceable. To add to it their dog Baron did not make it out of the fire - which brings another loss of a family member to the lives of these women. They are safe - which is the most important factor in all of this. But yet again they are given another set of challenges to overcome. I’m hoping to try and help make that a bit easier on them by creating this go fund me.  Anything helps. I will also be taking donations at my home for them. Lets help them get through the holidays and move on yet again but together as a supportive community of friends.
