I am class 3 obese.
I am considered morbidly obese. I have high cholesterol and am verging on type 2 diabetes. Stroke, heart disease and obesity runs in my family. I have chronic knee and back issues because of my weight and repeatedly sustain injuries when exercising. If i don't do something soon my health will continue to deteriorate.
My GP has monitored me through 6 different weight loss programs and after multiple failures has referred me to a surgeon to get the vertical sleeve gastrectomy.
This surgery has the highest success rate of long term weight loss than any other diet.
I am ready to take this drastic step to change my life because i am sick of failing and hating myself because of it.
I have a great support network of medical professionals and the weight loss community. I just don't have the money.
I have health insurance but there is a gap of $7000. I will be donating to this myself every week and even though i hate to ask for help, i know i need to. If you have any money that you can spare towards this surgery i would really appreciate the help.
