In August/September of next year 2016 I will be endevering in a 3 week journey to Scotland. This will be my first solo travel abroad and I'm so excited!

As you know I'm very intrested in history and especially my own geneology.  I've been doing some research and want to go to connect with this side of my family. Since the last time I was there I was 8 years old I have limited memories. I am hoping this journey will not only
create new wonderful memories but also possibly some new family bonds.

I plan to spend most of my time in the Edinburgh making it my home base. From there I will be able to take day or couple day trips to the Shetland Islands and possiblty a short trip over to Glasglow.

I have sent up this Go fund to ask family and friends to help make this trip as experiential as possible. What I would so appreciate is in lieu of gifts for holidays or birthdays (or if you're just feeling giving :) ) to have you just make a donation to my Scotland fund. I would also love any information, names, phone numbers of relatives or possible people to see or visit. And of course any suggestions you of things to see or do while there! I am so excited for this journey and cannot wait to hopefully connect with family and new friends. I cannot tell you how much your help means to make this possible.
