Hello I am Michele,

Kate’s long time friend here in Santa Cruz. I am also her roommate & now her care giver. Over the years we have shared a deep & rewarding friendship that continues on today.

As her care giver I have been advocating over the past year to help Kate receive all the services, devices & medical care available for her. However some of the necessities needed to be comfortable in our home are beyond reach and not offered to her through any programs. Items like a comfortable adjustable bed & quality bedding. Accessories for her new Power-chair. A washlet toilet. New desk. And activities like dining out, vacationing or buying new clothes are not easily affordable.

These items & activities would make a world of difference for Kate, improve her outlook on life & provide ease for decision making when deciding where to spend her limited funds.
