My reason for running the London Marathon 2025 for Oakhaven……

Sue Munro, was a much loved and very dear family member and friend who spent her last moments at Oakhaven where she was cared for wonderfully.

Sue’s visitors, whether family or friends, were welcomed with a warm smile and an offer of any help if needed.

The staff are all compassionate and nothing is too much trouble. They know what you need even before you do and they are there to support you with the kindest of hearts.

I was blown away by how beautiful a place Oakhaven is but saddened by how much they had to offer others in similar situations, if only more funding was available.

This is why I have chosen Oakhaven as my charity for my first ever marathon, London 2025 which is taking place on Sunday 27th April.

Please donate what you can to this amazing charity, they only have around 75% of their rooms occupied at one time due to funding issues and I know every amount donated is appreciated beyond words.

I’m in full training mode and I am focused to complete this huge challenge for Sue, Oakhaven and all my wonderful sponsors.
