In June, I was laid off due to federal funding cuts, with no severance. Since then, I’ve applied to over 220 jobs. Only four of those applications led to interviews, and none have led to an offer.

My unemployment benefits ended in February, leaving me without an income. I’ve created this fundraiser to help cover my basic living costs while I continue to search for work. My goal of $12,000 would cover a critical 3-month bridge for expenses like rent, necessary medications and health insurance, groceries and pet care, and utilities.

Asking for help doesn’t come easily, but I’ve realized I need to lean on community right now. If you’re able to contribute anything at all, it would make a real and meaningful difference.
