Kate's 50th Birthday Trip to New York

Hello, friends and family! As you know, with my 50th (yikes) birthday approaching, I'm planning a return trip to New York, where I lived for many years, to celebrate the occasion with my pals there. I haven't been back for over a decade, so the prospect of seeing everyone - in real life rather than on a screen - is very exciting. Aside from catching up with my friends, I'm going to gad about, visiting favourite places in the city and some of my old haunts. I'm also going to hop out to visit a few friends who now live outside the city. And I'll be celebrating the big 5-0 with a party at my friend Abby's restaurant - a chance to gather everyone together, get our party frocks on and have a knees up!

As there are no physical things I need - and also, not being much of a minimalist, I have no room at home, even for a pair of ant's pyjamas (!) - for anyone wanting to give me anything, I'd love if instead of a physical gift, you'd throw a few acorns towards this fundraiser, which will help fund my trip.
