Kateryna Aloshyna Medical Bill Issues
Donation protected
Kateryna has been our Community Association Manager (CAM) for about three years. She has made many positive changes at Tropic Winds. 2019 was an exciting year for Kateryna as she and her husband (Marco) became pregnant with her first child in May (she is due January 25th), she purchased her first home in September, and became a U.S. Citizen in November.
In early January 2020 she informed me that the landscaping company her husband worked for was going out of business. She has been getting her medical coverage through her husband's employer. Medical coverage is not available through her employer which is our Property Management Company. The medical premiums have been deducted from Marcos paycheck.
Kateryna discovered that the landscaping company did not pay the insurance company the medical premium for January. She went to her regularly scheduled doctors visit only to be told that all of her medical expenses back to November 1st have been denied by the insurance carrier. Apparently the landscaping company failed to pay for the coverage for November, December, and January.
Needless to say, the situation does not look good. At this point, They have medical bills of approximately $3,500 (including the doctor expense for the delivery). The medical office estimates that a non problematic natural birth will cost approximately $9,000. If there are any complications then the costs could be greater.
So it is easy to see that Kateryna and Marco need a little help. Please consider joining me and Kathy by contributing to the Go Fund Me campaign. I know that as a community we can support her, her husband and new baby boy.
Thanks,
Chris & Kathy Canoles
