Katelyn’s Closet
Katelyn says it’s time to squeeze some lemons into lemonade and raise money for the amazing Limb Kind Foundation. 2020 turned our lives upside down! We were blessed if only our vacations were cancelled or we missed a dance or a performance that we hoped to attend. Many others were not so lucky. The Pandemic left us dressed up with nowhere to go. So, we want to take this opportunity to introduce “Katelyn’s Closet.” Katelyn is offering many outfits some of which are new with tags still attached while others were worn only once. Our hope is to sell new and like new items with all of the money going to the Limb Kind Foundation.
The mission of Limb Kind is to improve the lives of children with limb loss, both domestically and internationally, by strengthening the amputee community, and providing pediatric prosthetic care for all. Katelyn first learned about Limb Kind through participation in Oceanside’s Project Extra Program during last school year. She would like the opportunity to help raise money and awareness to support this wonderful organization.
I will post items (with sizes) in the comments section of our FB post with suggested $5-10 donation amounts for new items and whatever fair donation you feel comfortable with for used (like new) items. Remember this is for a fantastic cause and your generosity is greatly appreciated! We will be adding and updating so check back frequently.
If the items in “Katelyn’s Closet” may not be of use to you but you would still like to contribute, every dollar makes a difference so that no amount is too small.
We will be running “Katelyn’s Closet” now through the month of May. If anyone would like to donate new clothing with tags that your children have outgrown, I will post them on FB (Nicole Ann) as well to expand “Katelyn’s Closet”. Let’s raise as much money for the Limb Kind Foundation as possible!!
Katelyn says, “Thank you so so much!!”
