Katelyn Sanger

Hello, my names Jade and I am making this go fund me on behalf of Katelyns family.

Unfortunately on July 12th Katelyn Sanger lost her long battle with depression.

Katelyn was only 27 at the time of her death, she was a bright and beautiful young lady with so many hopes and dreams.

A little background story, katelyn had sadly struggled with depression from her early teens and just recently Katelyn was diagnosed with a personality disorder called “Borderline Personality Disorder”, this is also short for BPD.

Unfortunately at least 70% of people diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder attempt suicide at least once in their lifetime, around 10 percent complete the act. The suicide rate is higher than any other psychiatric disorder within the general population. Katelyns family haven’t had much luck over the coming years, with younger sister unfortunately being diagnosed with a very rare condition which has left her mum to become her carer, Katelyns dad suffered a stroke which he now requires around the clock care. Katelyns mum herself struggles with health conditions and unfortunately with all of these events over the recent years, this has taken up a lot of there funds. No one expected this to happen as Katelyn was getting better but unfortunately depression can be a silent killer.

Katelyns family have asked for any donations however big or small to help towards the cost of her funeral so they can give Katelyn the send off she deserves. They thank you for taking your time to read this.
