Hi my name is Jordan Stabley, and I was Kate Warner's partner for nearly 15 years. Kate had a rare and highly aggressive form of brain cancer and passed in December of 2021, 10 weeks after her initial diagnosis. She was only 32 years old. Kate was intelligent, well-read, and compassionate and her loss still reverberates in my life and that of her family and friends.

In Kate's memory we have a few projects planned that focus on helping her family and the community in which she grew up. We will prioritize donations based on need:

Pavilion and improvements to Glatfelter Memorial Library: Kate and her family loved this library, and early visits inspired her love of reading. We have already made a sizeable donation to fund the Pavilion through the Friends of the Library, but would like to ensure we have funds to cover upkeep and additional improvements to the library. 5k Fundraiser for Brain Tumor Research: I will be running a 5k in Kate's memory in Washington D.C., along with a few friends and family members. Help us out-fund the other teams and send me a text or email if you would like to run and/or join our team! Link to Team
Outstanding obligations: Unfortunately not all debts are dispersed in death, help us ensure Kate's family does not have to shoulder all of the financial burden on top of the emotional burden they've already experienced

Thank you so much to all who donated to Kate's medical funds. The donations have been dispersed to pay for her bills, and leftover funds were already donated to the causes above.
