Kate Ferrell-Hernandez

I am Meagan, mom to Kate. After a seizure on 3/24, Kate was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since then she has hd surgery to remove the tumor and we are waiting for pathology to know what kind it is and how to treat it.

She also lost some of the strength and mobility on her left side and is in an inpatient physical therapy unit at SCH while she regains strength, works on her ability to walk, and gets an idea of what will be needed for long term care.

I will be collecting funds to help with her needs while she is in the hospital and the rest will be set aside to help with her needs upon discharge.

She is working through pain and uncertainty but we are hoping this can be a springboard to the healthy life she deserves on the other side.
