Today, in a car accident, Kate tragically passed away. Although I cannot say I knew Kate very well, there was a time when I was close to her, and I can say that she is one of the funniest, most caring, and outgoing people that I have ever met. I am praying for her that she is in a better place, and I am praying for the entire Marty family. Funerals can be very costly and that is the last thing that the Marty family needs to be concerned with right now. When I first heard what had happened, my heart immediately dropped as I had realized how great of a person the world lost today. There is one fond memory I have with Kate, and that was her inability to sit through a game of uno attack. She would always have to press the button way too many times just so it would shoot all the cards out. I know we weren't close in any way, but I would give just about anything to see her rolling on the floor laughing and shooting all the cards out. My prayers, as well as all those who knew her, those who laughed with her, and most importantly her best friend Brynlee who was with her today will be never ending. No one deserved this Kate, especially not you and you will not be forgotten. Rest easy, you will be missed.
