UPDATE: Katarina has responded well after her first surgery to remove some teeth in her mouth and to confirm the lumps are not from cancer, but infection from a condition called stomatitis - an exaggerated immune response to plaque and other bacteria. She has reacted well to pain meds and antibiotics. And has been gaining weight!
It has been discovered that she was not spayed, so she is due to go under again to get spayed and to check on the roots of the teeth that were removed so far, and examine how her gums are reacting after having time to heal from the last surgery.
We are also looking for a more permanent foster or adoptee. She is a very very sweet, affectionate, playful, friendly little kitty. And will be a great companion. My two large boys are not adjusting, and she gets confined too often for her own safety. I had her at a cottage on her own for a few days and she was a totally different kitty. Prancing around, rolling, playing, wanting to snuggle and sleep with me. She has a loud deep motor purr. I think she deserves a home where she can roam and be free safely. As much as I've fallen in love with her, she deserves better. I need to find her a better home.
Please donate, and if you are able or know someone who is able to foster or give her a home, please reach out.

This little orange yellow eyed beauty was outside my terrace drenched from a heavy rainfall and was skin and bones. She came into my kennel quite willingly, and upon initial inspection it was quite obvious that she had serious injuries to her mouth.
After bringing her inside, she ate voraciously, and is still ravenous after 10 days. She's been hungry a long time. She has a lump under her chin on the left side of her jaw, that is swelling up her face on that side.
Vet has determined no chip, and she may have an abscess in her jaw, and may need dental extractions. She is slowly gaining strength to be under anesthesia safely, to know what we can do for her to become a healthy kitty again.
Please help by contributing to her vet bills, which have already surpassed $1,000. She is also going through wet food like crazy, so here is a link to my wish list on Amazon to help provide more food for her. https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/36SPI3XQ5LCJY?ref_=wl_share
She is the sweetest little thing. So tiny! Purrs, rubs up against me and has visibly relaxed to get her rest after who knows how long of being outside on her own. She sleeps peacefully now.
With a little help from everyone, we can get her into a happy home, with a bright playful loving future!
