Kat's Greatest Shave

Kat Broderick (O'Brien)  was diagnosed with Glioma of the Spinal Cord at the young age 29 , sadly through the diagnosis process she lost the ability to walk.   We have attached a link to some information in relation to Glioma's of the spinal cord below for further information.  Kat has been fighting a very brave battle in which we are all so proud.  The last 3 years have been spent mainly in hospital with small stints at home in between.  She has gradually gotten sicker but has continued to fight with spirit.    Even through this time she has been able to maintain a smile and strong will for herself and for her 14 year old daughter Keisha. 

Kat in what seems to be her toughest of times has decided she wants to make something good out of what sometimes feels to be dark times . So She has decided to  shave her head on the 24th of February to raise awareness and money for Glioma.
