Kat was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma after surgical biopsy near her vocal cords, without removal. She now faces radiation, after 3 treatments of chemo and invasive neck surgery.
She is an authentic mother of two good, happily married men, and grandmother to two grandchildren, Jaxson, in the profile photo, and one newborn, Gabriel.
The lead photo was her way of mitigating the shock of her impending bald appearance from Chemo to her grand son, who she provided day care since he was 6 months old. A Manhattan hairdresser in her younger days, she knows the shock of hair, and loss.
This beautiful woman lives in Stockbridge, an idyllic Rockwellian town in Massachusetts.
Kat is in dire need for assistance for her transportation, expenses for her temporary stay for chemo and radiation, help around her house, and repair of her 15 year old car. She lives in government assisted housing, her children are hardly able to help, each with a young child.
