Help Kat through Cervical Cancer

Our beautiful girl lost her battle this week. Kat was so very touched by everyone’s generous donation, and who shared this for her. We are so grateful to everyone involved, whether they knew Kat well, or just briefly, they knew how special she was.

The funds will go to any funeral expenses, and a trust fund for Macey and Jimi. She loved them more than anything in this world, and although it couldn’t save her, she will be so happy that it will go towards their future. We will miss her more than words can say.

Kat was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017 at the age of 28, and after undergoing surgery she was in the clear for a few good years. To the distress of her family and friends, the cancer returned, spreading to her lymph nodes. Starting treatment in February 2023, she has undergone several strong rounds of chemo and radiation and has been in and out of the hospital all year. Her partner Terry, along with her parents Bruce and Carol, have been taking time off work to care for her and her two young children Macey and Jimi, aged 8 and 6.

The latest news is that the cancer has advanced to Stage 4. We are starting this fundraiser to ease the financial strain on Kat and her family as money is the last thing they should have to worry about. The main goal is to help Kat kick cancer's butt so Macey and Jimi can have their Mama in their lives. No donation is too small, I know finances are tough for a lot of people at the moment so please, just give what you can afford and if you can't give at the moment- please share this post!
