Kasyn Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Jeannette and I am fundraising for my nephew Kasyn who was born with a very rare form of a small airway disease.

Several procedures have ensued to figure out the best course of action to help baby Kasyn breathe. The procedures performed have been the microlaryngoscopy and bronchoscopy.

Kasyn needs to undergo an LPA sling, due to the nature of this difficult procedure and kasyn’s age (4 months old) the family has been sent to the children’s hospital of Philadelphia, it is anticipated that Kasyn will temporarily require a breathing tube, kept sedated and paralyzed for his safety. Kasyn will require a feeding tube (hopefully on a temporary basis). Once Kasyn is extabated he will be monitored by a speech language pathologist for safety of feeds. Kasyn has a long road ahead of him. But with love and prayers we are hopeful for a successful surgery and outcome.
