KASWEA 2021 Doctoral Scholarship Fundraising

Dear KASWEA Members,

 

It is an honor to announce a scholarship fundraising effort for doctoral students who will be attending the Council on Social Work Education 2021 annual program meeting (2021 CSWE APM) and the Society for Social Work and Research 2022 annual conference (2022 SSWR).

 

As COVID-19 is still active,  we are all anxious about our safety. We are traveling this journey together and getting through these uncertain times one day at a time. As the 2021 CSWE APM is coming back to Orlando, Florida, many doctoral students may be planning to attend it to build their career paths at the APM and SSWR. Thus, KASEA is conducting a fundraising effort to alleviate the financial burden of doctoral members attending the APM and SSWR.

 

We are fully aware that many faculty members have been experiencing a financial pinch since the pandemic began; however, your financial support for our doctoral students would be greatly appreciated. Let’s help them take one more step toward achieving their career goals. We humbly ask for your donations, and we thank you for your ongoing support. As we go through this challenging time together, remember that this shall also pass.

 

We encourage you to contribute by October 30, 2021. Your donations will go directly to the students attending either the CSWE 2021 APM or 2022 SSWR. As the 2021 CSWE APM is scheduled to be held on November 4-7, 2021, your donations will first be used to support selected students attending this conference and later to assist those attending the 2022 SSWR.
