Kastyns Care

On May 15th Kastyn Tyler Latham was flown to Primary Children's Hospital after he stopped breathing at daycare. The police nor the doctors have had any luck discovering the reason for this happening. They are still investigating. After four days, Kastyn woke up. After five days, he was breathing on his own. We were all very excited for about one day. The brain damage from going without oxygen is worse than we thought. Kastyn cried constantly for three days until they gave him muscle relaxers for his spasms from just laying in bed. Kastyn is confused and startled by noise easily. This is going to take months and possibly years to help get him get to about 75% of where he was before this incident.
Kastyn has a twin sister and a five year old brother who are confused and miss him.
His mom is a single mom who lost her job because they can't hold her position without knowing a date she might return. She has bravely sat and cried next to him for over a week. She has not left the hospital and her other children are with Grandma and Grandpa. The help she needs is to pay her car payment, insurance, and a few basic bills while she is helping Kastyn recover.
This is Kastyn trying to learn to hold his own head again. He is like a newborn and must relearn everything.
Help this little family keep the few things they have left until they can all be together again.
