Hi to all of you reading this and considering donating to this extremely worthy cause. We are Morgan and Daisy and we are fundraising for the sudden and very unexpected death of our friends daughter. She passed very suddenly and unexplained at her home on Jan 3rd. She was just shy of her 21st birthday.
We are seeking donations to help her Mom Amber with funeral expenses and to make it possible for Amber to stay home a little while longer with Kassidy’s younger brother and sister as they learn to accept their new reality and navigate this world without their big sister.
Neriah (Kass’s youngest sibling) still feels Kass is back at college and will be returning once the semester is over. She is 10. Remmy, Amber’s ever protector, is just 14 and has not left his Mom’s side.
Kassidy was a wonderful human who was on a road to great things! She attended Kings College Foundation Year Program which gave her the opportunity to pursue her career of Public Policy Making at MSVU and was registered again in January at Mount Saint Vincent to continue that journey. She was bright, focused, independent and such a family oriented person. She was also finishing a minor in French prior to her passing.
Her Mom once told me that although she had Kass at 18, Kass saved HER life. It made her realize she needed an education to support this tiny human and it was just Amber and her for many years. It was and still is an unbreakable bond.
Had her life not been cut short, Kassidy would have been a force in life and in society.
She was artistic in ways of poetry, drawing and crocheting.
She cherished her time in the army cadets RCAC aging out at 17 as RSM.
She was also very involved in her community. She very much enjoyed working at The Little Ice Cream Shop in Black Point and at St. Margarets Bay School.
What we want you to remember about her is that she adored her family and being a big sister. Her friends will miss her dearly and the sun will be a little less bright without her beautiful and kind smile.
Thank you for your support and remember, every little thing helps.
