This fundraiser is for Kass Ghandy to help with his medical bills. He had a massive heart attack on 12/9/21 at 11:15 pm while lying in bed. The night of the accident, he went to the gym, had dinner with his family, and watched Thursday night football. The paramedics were able to arrive quickly and bring his pulse back. Then he was rushed to Scripps Encinitas hospital, where he had emergency surgery for the placement of two stents in his heart. Kass was in an induced coma for 11 days in the ICU on a ventilator. He has a brain injury due to the lack of oxygen to his brain when he went into cardiac arrest. He was in the hospital for a total of 31 days.

He is now home recovering and continuing to do follow-up visits with specialists. Kass has therapy five days a week for speech, occupational, and physical. He is so grateful for everyone's love, support, and prayers that you have given him throughout this time. He is a fighter and is determined to get back to his regular life with his daughter Kynley and his family. He wants to get back to work, go to the gym, and be able to drive again.
