Kaslo River Trail Koot

We are fundraising for another Koot sculpture.  Our goal is to create a world class outdoor sculpture circuit in the Kootenays.  The Koots are elemental beings, the Keeper lives in Castlegar,  Harvest can be found emerging from the soil near Earth Temple Gardens in Meadow Creek, and our third collaboration Stepping Out is currently entered in Castlegar Sculpture Walk and is yet to find its permanent home.   This one one is for the Kaslo River Trail.  KORTS has applied for and received a CBT Public Art Grant, and is fundraising the balance of $4000.00.  As has the Village of Slocan.  So there will be two more places to visit a Koot in the Kootenays by the end of this summer.   We thank you for your donations and help to create more Koots.
