Kash was born at Hopkins July 29th 2021 at 6:56 pm; he was diagnosed about halfway through my pregnancy where we found he had a very rare congenital heart disease. He had tetralogy of fallot- pulmonary atresia, ventricular septal defect, and mapcas.
We knew it would be a hard battle but kash showed from the beginning how strong of a fighter he was having his first open heart surgery at just one week old.
He had his 2nd open heart about 4 months old & stayed about 160 days total impatient.
On May 15th 2023 kash went into this 3rd open heart surgery to try to build his pulmonary artery.
although the surgery went as planned they weren’t able to close his Vsd but the issue was getting oxygenated blood to his lungs.
Even after the surgery his vessels just weren’t big enough and getting oxygen to his lungs.
Our sweet baby boy fought 94 LONG hard days on ecmo and on August 17th at 12:43 pm kash went to heaven.
His body suffered so much from the ecmo from a stroke to vascular muscle tissue damage. He was tired and as much as we didn’t want to see him go, we know now he is no longer suffering and he’s happy and finally off oxygen.
kash will and always be the strongest boy we know in this world and he will live with us forever whenever we go.
our family we appreciate any support during this very difficult unexpected tragedy.
Kash was truly a living miracle and will forever be missed by so many
